Free survival game

Red Light Green Light is a free survival experience for Roblox by Wravager. The game is heavily inspired by Squid Game, the South Korean Netflix phenomenon. Red Light Green Light is a new game that only appeared on Roblox in 2021. The game has had a few updates since then. Overall, Red Light Green Light is relatively popular, having been favorited by almost 53,000 people and played by over 13.7 million.

If you enjoy Roblox games that take inspiration from other pop culture phenomena, give the Amazing Spider-Man a try. If you’d prefer a Roblox alternative to a popular mobile game, there’s always Subway Surfers. No matter what your taste in Roblox-based entertainment, this incredible platform has you covered.

The Pumpkin Maze

The game essentially has three game modes, Red Light Green Light, The Pumpkin Maze, and Impossible Obby. While the first and last of these take inspiration from the Netflix show, the Pumpkin Maze is a new, fairly original addition.

The objective of this game mode is to find a skull in the centre of a maze. Even though the beginning of the game mentions that you should only take on the challenge ‘if you dare,’ there doesn’t seem to be any threat within the maze itself.

Red Light Green Light

This is the most popular of all the game modes, with dozens of players on the field at once. The objective of this game mode is simple; outrun the other players while adhering to the classic green light red light rules. If you move when the light is red, you will be shot. The game is fairly enjoyable, and should keep you entertained for a while.

Robux

Unfortunately, spawning into the game immediately makes it clear that you need a good amount of Robux in order to play. First off, you’ll need to shell out for a Squid Game style outfit. This isn’t a prerequisite, but you may feel a little out of place if you don’t. You can pay even more for a VIP outfit that is gold instead of green. You can also pay extra to become either a guard or the girl doll.

Expensive but fun

Whenever a game presses you to donate Robux or spend it on gear that helps you fit in, it immediately calls into question the motives and priorities of the developer. Unfortunately, Red Light Green Light does exactly this.

The game is, however, fun if you enjoy this kind of gameplay, even though there are no real consequences to losing in the various game modes.
